Marlon Camilleri was born in 2002, Malta. He’s currently following the final year of his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art at Mcast Institute of The Creative Arts.
It was from an early childhood that he was interested in the arts and would attend art lessons, which later instructed him to continue his practice in secondary school as an art option and later when he entered college. Marlon specializes in ceramic sculptures but is not limited to just 3D work, recently in his process he started to incorporate 2D charcoal drawings that inform the process of his 3D pieces and vice versa.
His work is derived from his early years being influenced by the fantasy genre that remained throughout and shaped him as a free-spirited person who elaborates on fantastical and natural elements that are a manifestation of his imagination, often depicting symbolic and philosophical subjects.
